Located in Cherry Creek North, one of Denver's most iconic neighborhoods, the 170-key Moxy Hotel caters to the modern millennial traveler. With smaller rooms designed at just 180 square feet, and an experiential lobby, the hotel incorporates industrial materials with a rustic yet stylish modern appeal. To emphasize connection and facilitate interaction, the bar became the focal point of the lobby space, serving as both a place to gather as well as the hotel check-in desk.
The design concept and inspiration for this project came from the Colorado gold rush. By highlighting moments of Denver's history, the interior design strived to develop a sense of place while maintaining the consistency of a Marriott branded property.
